BJTLoop is a Japanese learning service operated by Career Link. This policy covers the BJTLoop iOS and Android apps, our website and the services supporting them. Career Link is responsible for the personal information described below.

1. Information we collect
- Account and profile: your verified Google account identifier, email address and display name; the profile name, country (Myanmar or Japan) and avatar you choose. We do not receive your Google password. Your selected country is not GPS location.
- Learning records: lesson progress, quiz answers and scores, saved and learned items, completed activities and relevant timestamps.
- Course access: the plans available to your account, access dates and account status. We do not ask for or store card numbers in the app.
- Security and operation: an app-generated installation identifier, session records, sign-in/activity timestamps and technical information such as IP addresses or error information processed by our hosting services.
- Support: information you choose to include when contacting Career Link. Please avoid sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
2. How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, provide your course access, save and synchronize learning progress, show your results, respond to support requests, prevent unauthorized access and maintain the service. Where applicable, the grounds for processing are providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in security and operation, your consent for optional choices, and compliance with legal obligations.
3. Demo accounts
Tap Demo account and enter the access code provided by Career Link to sign in. This creates a practice account associated with your app installation, without requiring a personal Google account. Demo learning activity is stored on our server in the same way as other learning activity. Demo accounts use a generated identifier and a placeholder email that cannot receive mail. They can be deleted from My profile. Please do not enter real personal information into a demo profile.
4. Device storage and permissions
The app keeps its sign-in token in protected device storage and may store settings, learning summaries and cached lesson media on your device. Widgets use a local learning summary. A new sign-in to the same learner account ends the previous session. The admin website uses an HTTP-only session cookie for authentication. These are functional storage mechanisms, not advertising cookies.
The app does not record your microphone or request access to contacts or GPS location. Japanese pronunciation uses prerecorded lesson audio and device speech services. If you choose Copy or Share, the selected text or file is passed to the clipboard or the destination you choose.
5. Service providers and external links
- Google verifies Google sign-ins. Career Link's hosted API, database, media storage and backups process account and learning data. Vercel hosts the website.
- Google Cloud is used to prepare some teaching audio. The current learning app does not send your quiz answers, profile or microphone recordings to Gemini to generate those recordings.
- Telegram delivers login codes to approved administrators; this is separate from learner sign-in.
- If you choose to contact us through Facebook or Messenger, an enrollment message can include your account email, selected country and plan. Copying or opening the link does not send the message automatically; you choose whether to paste and send it.
- Enrollment payments arranged through Facebook are received through KPay. Payment details you provide to KPay are handled by that service under its own privacy policy.
- External meeting and resource links, including Zoom when offered, are handled by their respective services under their own privacy policies.
Authorized Career Link administrators can access learner information needed to manage the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to protect users and the security of the service. Service providers may process information outside your country of residence.
6. Retention and deletion
How to delete your BJTLoop account or request deletion without the app
Account and learning information is retained while your account exists to provide your learning history and access. You can delete your account in My profile → Delete my account. This removes your active account, sessions, learning records and course-access records from the live database. Signing out or uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account.
Recovery backups may contain earlier records until they are rotated or securely removed. Restricted operational records or correspondence may be retained where needed for security, dispute resolution or legal obligations. Contact us about deletion from support systems or backups, or if you cannot access your account.
7. Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, sign out and delete your account in the app. You may also request access to, correction of or deletion of your information by contacting Career Link. Depending on your location, you may have rights to portability, restriction or objection to processing, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to your local privacy authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Security and children
We use encrypted connections, access controls and protected session storage. No system can guarantee absolute security. BJTLoop is designed for business Japanese learners and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Changes and contact
